Dark garnet red color, vigorous, balanced and finely structured. Its complex bouquet initially amazes for its spicy notes of tobacco which then leave room for fruity nuances of blackcurrant and blueberry. It has a fresh and decisive acidity, embellished with ripe and soft tannins which, after having expressed their intensity on the palate.

With an intense red color with slight violet reflections, it has a full perfume with notes of black cherry, coffee and cocoa. The flavor is full, austere and velvety with a rich and silky finish. It is a good companion for structured dishes of meat, game, cheeses and blue cheeses.

As often happens with the wines of the "New World", it is the great French masters who are committed to discovering new production areas. So it was also for Chapel Peak and in particular for this Pinot Noir, fine, elegant and with a decidedly Burgundian style. The vinification of Dolcetto d'Alba dei Grassi involves alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with daily pumping over. Once malolactic fermentation has taken place, the wine stays in steel and is bottled in the months of April-May.
