The new vineyard purchased a few years ago by the Conterno family presents itself on the market with an exceptional Barolo, powerful and structured, with a very persistent tannic texture, and slightly more balsamic than the nearby vineyard France.

Ottima struttura ma con tannini già morbidi e profumi aperti e intensi che donano a questo Barolo caratteristiche di potenza e grande eleganza. Complesso e fragrante da bere giovane ma con grande attitudine all'invecchiamento.
Abbinamenti gastronomici: carni rosse in genere, pesce e carni bianche grigliate, formaggi a grana dura o stagionati, cioccolato.

Made from Nebbiolo grapes, cultivated in Monforte d’Alba, in Bussia hamlet from the blending of Rocche vineyard (South, South–East), Munie vineyard (South, South-West) and Fiurin vineyard (West).

A complex and majestic Barolo, with an aromatic profile that ranges from hints of rose petals to plum and black cherry, up to the white truffle and undergrowth. The tannic structure is solid and harmonious, with a full and impressive finish.

Coming from the historic family vineyard in Serralunga, from which in the great vintages Monfortino is produced, this Barolo is the maximum expression of Nebbiolo in all its power, elegance and refinement. In short, an opulent wine.

The vinification of Barolo Gavarini Chiniera involves alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with daily pumping over. Once malolactic fermentation has taken place, the wine is aged in 25 hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels. After bottling, the Barolo Gavarini Chiniera rests in the cellar for 8-10 months before being sold.
