This rare passito is the result of Malvasia and Corinto Nero grapes grown on the volcanic soil of the island of Salina. The grapes dried in the sun on cane racks are then vinified. This is followed by slow fermentation and maturation in small oak barrels. An interesting combination with soft blue cheeses and goose liver, with pastries, chocolate desserts and ice cream.

Characteristic aromas of the vine: currant, blackberry and blueberry with a background of licorice, vanilla and bitter orange. In the mouth it is a thick, round wine. It combines the freshness of fruity notes with a certain grasseza, in perfect balance.

Ruby red color with light purple hues, it expresses all the typicality of Barbera, especially in its fresh and pleasant fruitiness. Barbera is ideal for many tables rich in cured meats and robiole, but also with more elaborate foods, in particular grilled meat and aged cheeses.
