In the Roero, in Vezza d'Alba, to the left of the Tanaro river, the concave hill of Valmaggiore is one of the best witnesses of origin and quality. Already in the nineteenth century, the Nebbiolo grapes produced in its rows dictated the price for the whole territory. In the nineties, the meeting with Valmaggiore was for Luciano and Luca as love at first sight: falling in love at first sight. Not only for the history and the long viticultural tradition, but for the particular uniqueness of those sandy soils combined with the microclimate.
