"The 2016 Barolo Gallinotto is an attractive, gracious La Morra Barolo. The tannins need time to soften, so I would cellar it for at least a year or two. Dried cherry, mint, orange rind, crushed rose petal, anise and sweet spice all develop in the glass. Le Rochoy is a unique hill in Sancerrois. It was once a Gallo-Roman quarry called "Rochetum". Flints scattered on the ground accumulate heat during the day and release it at night.
