This Pouilly-Fumé comes from the slopes of the prestigious wine towns of Saint-Laurent L'Abbaye and Saint-Père. These slopes, made up of a mixture of limestone and flint, benefit from optimal sunshine.
With a golden appearance with green reflections, this great wine from the Loire has fine and developed aromas of citrus mixed with hints of flint. On the palate the clean and light attack gives way to a well balanced roundness accompanied by a nice freshness supported by citrus notes. It is then the refinement in the bottle that gives Pouilly its "smoky" aromas.
