A myth of Italian enology, Sassicaia, the first true Tuscan Bordolese cut, owes its origins to the foresight and passion of Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, who in the 20s began experimenting to reach a "Supertuscan" of race. Produced since 1948, but marketed only by the 1967 vintage.
