Petite Arvine 2022 - Elio Ottin
Engaging fragrances and colors that speak of fruit and flowers, from pineapple to rhubarb, passing from fresh grapefruit to iodine and stony mineral depth with some return of fresh mountain herbs. In the mouth it is harmony of the parts and in the memory; after swallowing, the balance of a full, sapid and extremely pleasant wine remains.
Vine of Swiss origin and more precisely from the canton of Valais. It was imported into the Valle d'Aosta around the middle of the last century by the canon Joseph Vaudan, a figure that we can in all respects consider as a guide and creator of the Valdostan wine revival.
La Petite Arvine is a late-ripening semi-aromatic with great enological potential that lends itself very well to both ripening in wood and in steel.
