Red Wines

A wine that expresses itself with an intense red color, with spicy notes where the minerality is perfectly fused with tannins, always velvety and soft.

Color: bright, intense ruby ​​red. Aroma: the floral aroma of the vine fully emerges in this Langhe Nebbiolo, notes of rose are mixed with hints of ripe fruit. Taste: elegant notes of fruit, flowers and spices open the way to a sweet and fine tannin that makes it easy to drink from the first months in the bottle.

It takes the name of the house being a selection of more vineyards around the company. Traditional typology that follows the Piedmontese philosophy of aging in large Slavonian oak barrels of 2500 L where it rests for two years. Wine that plays on elegance and fruit.

The color is bright and intense ruby ​​red, the liveliness makes it particularly pleasant and inviting. The very fine olfactory sensations grow slowly providing first fruity nuances of blackberry and cooked plum and subsequently vinous, fermentation, typical of Barbera, with a just aromatic contribution of the wood.

The wine is garnet red in color. The nose has hints of cherry, plum, raspberry and violet, all distinctive and identifying aromas of Nebbiolo. The mouth is instead characterized by an average astringency of tannins and an appreciable freshness, well balanced by alcohol and softness.

This Barolo is obtained with grapes from the younger and more exuberant vineyards of both the Municipality of La Morra and Monforte d’Alba, vinified together as was done in the past, to harmonize the different characteristics.

A Barolo with a "gentle" character despite being one of Monforte's most classic Crü. Sweet tannins and great drinkability, with a huge aging potential.

"The 2016 Barolo Gallinotto is an attractive, gracious La Morra Barolo. The tannins need time to soften, so I would cellar it for at least a year or two. Dried cherry, mint, orange rind, crushed rose petal, anise and sweet spice all develop in the glass. These Nebbiolo da Barolo vines grow in La Morra, characterising the wine with elegance, finesse and a high drinking point from a young age. Barolo is the most important wine of the Langa; it is a wine that requires patience in production, but then repays the wait with the result in the glass.
