Created as a tribute to the cowboys who remain the symbol of the land of Maremma, strong and elegant at the same time. Grapes: 80% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from the three farm estates in Tuscany. It goes perfectly with pasta, roasted or boiled white meats, roasted or grilled fish.

"Vigna del Salice" is obtained from the pressing of Barbera d'Asti grapes coming from the oldest vines owned by the company, of high hills, facing south-east, where the vocation for the Barbera vine is higher.

It is a blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, which ages in French barriques (two thirds new) for 20 months and for at least one year in bottle. With very fine tannins and a persistent finish, Il BLU presents itself as a wine of great structure, which fascinates for its complexity and elegance.
