Red Wines

Result of a blend dominated by Merlot (53%), integrated by Cabernet Sauvignon (41%) and Petit Verdot (6%), it is fruity, with its characteristic aroma, intense aromatic expression and softness of the mouth on caressing tannins , suggests a very promising future.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and sometimes a small proportion of Petit Verdot, to represent the elegance, complexity and structure of the Bolgheri terroir. It is produced since 1990 from vineyards located on a soil of alluvial origin, from clay-sandy to clay-silt, with the presence of Bolgheri agglomeration (skeleton).

Created as a tribute to the cowboys who remain the symbol of the land of Maremma, strong and elegant at the same time. The Orello, is the long pointed stick, with which the cattle are still moved today. It is characterized by a consistent percentage of Syrah grapes that make it very full and rich, while maintaining the elegance and freshness typical of Rocca di Frassinello wines.

With an intense and deep ruby ​​red color, Tignanello 2018 strikes the nose for its complexity: notes of ripe red fruit, black cherry, sour cherry and black currant, combine with sweet hints of vanilla. On the palate it is rich and balanced: the soft and silky tannins are supported by an excellent freshness capable of giving length, elegance and gustatory persistence.

Medium to pale crimson. The bouquet is attractively perfumed, the red fruit starts gently at the front of the palate then gains weight, and I like the drier structure at the back because the fruit can keep pace with it. Not at the moment in the same harmony as the Gevrey but this will certainly come.

The intensity and refinement of Chambolle-Musigny wines are expressed with elegant subtlety in terms of appearance, the bright ruby colour creating brilliant and luminous reflections. Violets and small red berries make up the highly characteristic bouquet. Rich, with powerful and complex aromas, Chambolle-Musigny coats the palate with silk and lace. It is intense, ethereal but full and robust, of a garnet red color with orange reflections that become more evident with aging: a complex, harmonious and fascinating wine that continues to evolve showing new facets.
