This Nebbiolo comes from Nebbiolo from Barolo, generally the younger ones. Light ruby red in colour, characteristic for del Pinot Nero. Fruity on the nose with scents of cherry and red berries such as strawberry, raspberry and blueberry. Warm, elegant, soft and persistent on the mouth, with soft tannins and spicy notes due to the aging in wood.

Garnet red color with orange reflections, the nose is complex with spicy notes also of licorice. In the mouth it is rich, full, complex with a harmonious, fine and elegant tannin.

Elegant and fine Nebbiolo, typical of the sandy soils on which it is born, the Valmaggiore is a true pillar in its category. To be taken as an example for all lovers of this noble vine.

This noble Pinot Noir grows in vineyards of medium-high height between 500 - 600 m s.l.m. Here the downward currents of air cool the temperature even in the height of summer. It has been grown in South Tyrol since the middle of the 19th century, especially the older vineyards give a structured and elegant Pinot Noir.

With an intense red color with slight violet reflections, it has a full perfume with notes of black cherry, coffee and cocoa. The flavor is full, austere and velvety with a rich and silky finish. It is a good companion for structured dishes of meat, game, cheeses and blue cheeses.
