Light ruby red in colour, characteristic for del Pinot Nero. Fruity on the nose with scents of cherry and red berries such as strawberry, raspberry and blueberry.
Warm, elegant, soft and persistent on the mouth, with soft tannins and spicy notes due to the aging in wood.
These grapes, coming from small vineyards on the sides of the valleys with good exposure and ventilation, on autochthonous or accumulating soils, poor in organic matter, are harvested by hand, and arrived in the cellar, carefully destemmed and fermented in small containers. steel with frequent pumping over to keep the "hat" formed by the skins submerged, and in this way gently extract the aromatic and tannic substances contained in them. After 8/10 days in which alcoholic fermentation takes place at a temperature that does not exceed 25/27 ° C, the new wine is placed in small wooden barrels where it completes its formation with malolactic fermentation. Then follows an initial decanting and begins refinement for at least 15 months in barriques of different wood and age, after which it follows a steel assembly and shortly after bottling.
