Red Wines

With an intense and deep ruby ​​red color, Tignanello 2018 strikes the nose for its complexity: notes of ripe red fruit, black cherry, sour cherry and black currant, combine with sweet hints of vanilla. On the palate it is rich and balanced: the soft and silky tannins are supported by an excellent freshness capable of giving length, elegance and gustatory persistence.

Exclusively Pinot Noir grapes from the Chassagne-Montrachet area and aged in French oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months. The color shines in the glass of a majestic light ruby ​​red while aromas of red fruit, flowers and sweet spices are emanated. The sip is agile, tasty, juicy, with fine tannins and a fresh finish

Medium to pale crimson. The bouquet is attractively perfumed, the red fruit starts gently at the front of the palate then gains weight, and I like the drier structure at the back because the fruit can keep pace with it. Not at the moment in the same harmony as the Gevrey but this will certainly come.

The vinification of Barolo Gavarini Chiniera involves alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with daily pumping over. Once malolactic fermentation has taken place, the wine is aged in 25 hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels. After bottling, the Barolo Gavarini Chiniera rests in the cellar for 8-10 months before being sold.

Ruby color tending to garnet with intense notes of rose and violet, accompanied by a hint of wet earth and a ripe red fruit. Very long tannins, however sweet, speak of an evolution that will be completed much later in time.

Bright garnet red color, bouquet of dried flowers and red fruit jam on the nose, with delicate notes of sweet spices, cocoa, and menthol. Austere and elegant on the palate, with silky and enveloping tannins that blend with a marked minerality.
