"The 2018 Barolo Ornato is somber, brooding and quite closed in on itself. There's a ton of aromatic and flavor complexity, but the fruit is very much in the background. Thanks to an accurate, traditional vinification, followed by a maceration of at least 20 days, after three years of storage, first in wood and then in the bottle, a great austere, warm and velvety Barolo is obtained. With a color with red - garnet tones and aromas with excellent olfactory notes reminiscent of spices, leather, violets and the classic "goudron".

“Why L'Emeric? Because this wine was made to arouse inspiration. Emeric Ottin was the one who gave the deepest inspiration to the creation of our company. He was the first generation of Ottin to produce Pinot Noir and L'Emerico is our personal way of making them eternal gratitude".
