There was a time when the Dal Cero were Veronese. Today Igino, Franco and Anna Maria return to the eastern lands of Verona, the birthplace of their father Pietro, to whom this bottle is dedicated to reaffirm their history and savor the wind of those places. "The 2016 Barolo Gallinotto is an attractive, gracious La Morra Barolo. The tannins need time to soften, so I would cellar it for at least a year or two. Dried cherry, mint, orange rind, crushed rose petal, anise and sweet spice all develop in the glass. Ultimately, the 2016 might merit a slightly more positive note if it sheds some of its youthful austerity. " Antonio Galloni
