"The 2016 Barolo Gallinotto is an attractive, gracious La Morra Barolo. The tannins need time to soften, so I would cellar it for at least a year or two. Dried cherry, mint, orange rind, crushed rose petal, anise and sweet spice all develop in the glass. The 2019 Barolo Bricco Boschis is laced with dried red cherry fruit, spice and strong savory accents. I find the flavors a bit dried out and the tannins overpowering, both of which penalize the wine's balance.
