Obtained from a selection of old Sauvignon blanc strains in the vineyards located in the towns of Castiglione Falletto and Monforte d'Alba. The Langhe Bianco Rovella is a wine of great evolution.

Pale straw yellow color and delicate fruit scent that brings back the unmistakable Mediterranean smells of the area of ​​origin. The taste is broad and balanced with a slight dominance of the acidulous note in support of the freshness of the aromas

The nose is very intense and complex: the slight fruity nuances reminiscent of grapefruit and green apple are accompanied by soft floral touches leaving a delicate hint of hazelnut on the finish. On the palate, it has a balanced, broad, round structure with excellent persistence, ending very fine and elegant with hints of wood and minerals.

Produced with grapes grown on Soil No. 3 of the Suor Marchesa estate, mainly calcareous and facing north, Duca di Salaparuta's Sauvignon Blanc preserves the freshness and acidity characteristic of the grape intact.

This wine represents Meirana's best production. It is made from the grapes of old vineyards planted in the years 1953 and 1955.
