Mixed Case Le Marie

It all began in 1902, when Giacomo Bernard, returning from Marseilles, invested all his wealth in the production of soft drinks such as gazzosa and seltzer, as well as the exclusive distribution of Bosio and Caratsch beer. Around the 1930s, the company experienced a period of intense work as the construction of large-scale works and infrastructure brought a lot of labour into the valley. In the 1950s, an important step was taken: the workshop for the production of liqueurs was established, from mint to what is still the flagship product today: Barathier. The production of soft drinks, which in the meantime had expanded to include orangeade, chinotto and ginger, continued until the early 1990s, when industrial competition became overwhelming. The family then decided to concentrate on the production of liqueurs, renovating workshops and facilities. Today, Giacomo and Enrico's strength lies in the production of excellent liqueurs, well known and appreciated by those looking for an artisanal product with an inimitable flavour.
