This wine represents Meirana's best production. It is made from the grapes of old vineyards planted in the years 1953 and 1955. The average vineyard yield in the different harvests is 30 to 40 quintals per hectare. The grapes are harvested in wooden crates and directly transferred to the presses so that the bunches arrive there intact. These, due to their richness of structure and acidity, make it possible to obtain a great wine suitable for storage, maintaining its aromas and freshness over the years. The name Bruno Broglia is in honour of the founder of the winery.
This selection, recognised as one of the benchmark white wines, wins major national and international awards every year. In addition, it was served as the only white wine at the Gala dinner for the G20 in St. Petersburg, in the presence of the world's greats, held on 5 September 2013. Bruno Broglia is straw yellow in colour with greenish highlights, brilliant: the fine bouquet is very persistent, fruity and reminiscent of the aristocratic scent of the grapes from which it comes. It is an excellent accompaniment to both fish and shellfish dishes where its haute cuisine characteristics come to the fore.
