Claré JC is a unique wine. It is the reinterpretation of a forgotten Nebbiolo, appreciated in its lightest and freshest form. The vinification protocol is inspired by the notes of G.B. Croce from 1606: the wine is bottled immediately after fermentation, in order to maintain a sweet finish and a beautiful drinking energy. Light ruby ​​red color. Lively aromas of cherry and pomegranate nectar....

Ruby red color with light purple hues, it expresses all the typicality of Barbera, especially in its fresh and pleasant fruitiness. Barbera is ideal for many tables rich in cured meats and robiole, but also with more elaborate foods, in particular grilled meat and aged cheeses. Its evolutionary possibilities are excellent; the temperature must be around 18 degrees, use large round glasses.

The grapes come from the homonymous vineyard "Cascina Francia", historic vineyard of the Conterno family. In the 2020 vintage, the Barbera Francia presents itself with typical acidity and a great elegance, a wine perhaps not very ready to drink, but which can be kept for many years in the cellar.

Six hectares cultivated according to organic farming methods, some of which are processed with the help of the horse, from whose grapes wines of extreme finesse and elegance are obtained. Adjectives abound for this small Domaine, where the wines are a perfect balance between the "silkiness" and the complexities of Gevrey's Terroir.

Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes from Barolo thanks to a shorter vinification and a limited aging period. It is ruby ​​red, with fruity and herbaceous hints, on the palate it is full and harmonious. Excellent on medium-aged cheeses and cold cuts. Serve at 16-17 degrees. It can evolve optimally for 5-7 years.
