ONLY AND EXCLUSIVELY PINOT NERO: A not easy choice but with exciting results. From the high hills of the Langa, in calcareous siliceous soils, Pinot nero grapes are obtained with extraordinary characteristics that make the Alta Langa docg, unique for freshness and typicality even after many years of maturation.

The Vajasindi estate, on the slopes of Mount Etna, is the site of indigenous vines but it is also the home of Pinot Noir, which today finds a new expression on this volcanic soil. In fact, Duca Nero is born, the Pinot Noir sparkling with the Charmat method, which combines elegance and freshness on the nose with a palate in which a unique minerality stands out.

The nose of this 2015 vintage is at once precise, pure and fruity. It shows an incredible finesse aromatics and a beautiful minerality. This lively freshness translates into a bouquet of white flowers (orange blossom, lime, honeysuckle) punctuated by fresh fruit aromas (lime, white peach) delicately accompanied by fine notes of lightly toasted almonds.
