Valtellina Superiore DOCG, reflects the evolution of Nebbiolo, its color, the complexity and subtlety of its perfumes, which are balanced with the taste by finding spices such as pepper and cinnamon. Very delicate notes of violet, complemented by the taste of licorice and hazelnut.

It is a broad and complex wine, with an elegant texture and great structure. The acidity is that typical of the vine, but is damped by a long aging in large oak barrels. An exceptional wine that can be drunk immediately or kept for a long time in the cellar.

It is a fresh and velvety wine, harmonious and rightly tannic with a delicate bouquet and intense color, perfect to accompany red meats and aged cheeses but also as an aperitif.

Organoleptic characteristics: excellent structure with typical Barbera aromas produced in the Barolo area: hints of red and floral fruits, open and intense. Excellent attitude towards aging. Food pairings: cold cuts, first courses, red meats in general, grilled meats, hard or seasoned cheeses.
