Doppio Erre Di stands for Delayed Degorgement Recently Degorged, in the sense that the degorgement (i.e. the final phase of the production of the Franciacorta method) is deliberately delayed after long months of aging, and that the bottles are delivered freshly degorged to ensure maximum freshness.

Refined, bewitching and structured. It is a wine with the perfect combination of charismatic power and sublime finesse, an elixir for hearts and palates.

Harmonious, creamy and elegant. It is a wine capable of achieving a unique balance that has the power to create intoxicating sensations.

View: soft pink colour. Visible and persistent perlage. Nose: fragrant and vibrant, with notes of small fruits (wild strawberries) and red flowers. Delicate and elegant, it closes on notes of fresh spice (white pepper) and bitter orange peel. Taste: of great harmony and pleasantness, with a good acid vein that helps to cleanse the palate. Aftertaste characterised by mineral notes.

Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in the classic method with re-fermentation in the bottle. It is harvested during the coolest hours of the day and with the use of dry ice to preserve the characteristics of the grapes. It remains sur lie for a minimum of thirty months in the bottle before being degorged.

Blanc de Blanc originated as a limited edition of Doppio Erre Di, from which it differed in aging time. Today it is made with only the must flower of 100% Chardonnay grapes, fermented exclusively in steel. After a period of at least 36 months on the lees, a long aging in the bottle follows, giving, in addition to the usual freshness, a pleasant evolutionary note and an important structure....
