The 2011 vintage can absolutely be considered the worthy heir of 2008. A fortunate vintage that has given us wines of great elegance and structure, but above all with incredible aging potential. Jerome Legras, skilled winemaker and owner of the family Maison, gives us another exceptional wine, creamy and buttery, perfect for every palate.

The rich, round palate discloses peppery notes and candied fruits which attest to the excellent balance of the vintage and make it well-suited to a wide variety of dishes. The perfect Champagne with food.

The Mandois Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay) is a blend of several terroirs where the Chardonnay finds itself particularly at home. Perfectly representative of the vintage, it is only slightly sweetened to allow the natural character of the Chardonnay to develop to the full.

The intense freshness of this cuvée is an indication that it has at least 10 years of further evolution ahead of it. However, for those who can't wait ten years, this wine's excellent balance and oak ageing ensure that it is already drinking beautifully.

The heart of the MV13 cuvée is based at 70% on the 2018 vintage fermented and born for 12 months in wooden barrels of the Argonne forest, to which is added a 30% reserve wine aged with solera method. After foaming, it rests in the bottle for at least 6 years before disgorging.

The 2012 Legras & Haas vintage combines intense freshness with palpable richness at every second of the tasting, it is a complete and ripe wine. It bears the mark of the great years, a direct and perfectly intelligible contact supported by an abundance of nuances.

The grapes are grown in the family’s oldest hilltops parcels in which the deep-rooted vines draw their complexity from the terroir’s unique mother rock.
