Ruby red color with orange reflections; to the nose it is complex with fruity notes of orange and pomegranate, the taste is sapid corresponding to the olfactory notes.

The Rot is a 100% Pinot Noir coming from vines grown with organic methods on a clayey-limestone soil. On the nose, aromas of strawberries, cherries and vanilla blend with hints of coconut and toasted wood. On the palate it is dry, medium-bodied with a pleasant acidity. 8 years aging potential.

It is intense, ethereal but full and robust, of a garnet red color with orange reflections that become more evident with aging: a complex, harmonious and fascinating wine that continues to evolve showing new facets.

This noble Pinot Noir grows in vineyards of medium-high height between 500 - 600 m s.l.m. Here the downward currents of air cool the temperature even in the height of summer. It has been grown in South Tyrol since the middle of the 19th century, especially the older vineyards give a structured and elegant Pinot Noir.
