Vigna Colonnello is garnet ruby red in color. The nose is complex offering aromas of spices, even exotic spices, dried flowers, and forest floor. Remarkable on the palate for the excellent concentration of refined tannins, supple, able to envelop the palate without being aggressive. The finish is long and persistent.

It has truly classic aromas: rose petals, dog rose, cherry stone, followed by delicate tones of Nebbiolo marc, cranberry, raspberries, goudron, mint, anise, delicate musk and a hint of white pepper. On the palate it is fragrant and graceful, with a juicy and balanced mouth and velvety tannins.

The 2019 Barolo Bricco Boschis is laced with dried red cherry fruit, spice and strong savory accents. I find the flavors a bit dried out and the tannins overpowering, both of which penalize the wine's balance.

Thanks to an accurate, traditional vinification, followed by a maceration of at least 20 days, after three years of storage, first in wood and then in the bottle, a great austere, warm and velvety Barolo is obtained. With a color with red - garnet tones and aromas with excellent olfactory notes reminiscent of spices, leather, violets and the classic "goudron".
