100% Chardonnay grapes from the Village of Chassagne-Montrachet. The vineyards, located at the beginning of the Chassagne hill, are about 50 years old. The wine obtained after alcoholic and malolactic fermentation and aging in barriques for about 18 months, is rich and full, absolutely typical and with great energy.

Les Charmois is a premier cru of 15.09 hectares bordering the premier cru of Chassagne Les Chaumées. The wines of Le Charmois are fresh and mineral with apple aromas and citrine notes.

Minerality and sapidity, which form the backbone of all the great Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru, are the distinctive features of this wine.

Hue:Bright yellow with touches of green. Nose:Delicate citrus and white blossom - Slightly buttery. Palate:Pure – full-bodied and precise on the palate – good energy – a mineral finish. Slightly salty.

Corton's whites are always structured Chardonnay and need at least 10 years of aging to express themselves in the best way. It will express itself best after 10 years but will continue to mature for 20.

On the palate, this is a soft-textured and smooth wine that develops notes of stewed pear and sweet spices. With the finish comes a pleasant hint of bittersweet candied orange peel.
