Our Testimonial
Pinot Nero
Pinot Noir is certainly one of the most important and used international vines, but its maximum expression is certainly reached in Burgundy, where it gives rise to great wines, fine, elegant and with enormous aging potential. However, even in Italy, especially in the North East, it has been cultivated for some years with excellent results. Every wine lover certainly has a veneration for this wine, for years we have been trying to select wines from the world that can compare with the great Burgundy Pinot Noirs, and we often find pleasant surprises even in less suitable or less noble areas.

As often happens with the wines of the "New World", it is the great French masters who are committed to discovering new production areas. So it was also for Chapel Peak and in particular for this Pinot Noir, fine, elegant and with a decidedly Burgundian style. A really interesting wine that stands up to the most famous French relatives.

This vineyard has been able to carry out a patient and courageous reconquest. Overlooking the coast from Gevrey-Chambertin to the Bois de Corton, the Hautes Côtes de Nuits are steeped in wild beauty.

Adjectives abound for this small Domaine, where the wines are a perfect balance between the "silkiness" and the complexities of Gevrey's Terroir.

This noble Pinot Noir grows in vineyards of medium-high height between 500 - 600 m s.l.m. Here the downward currents of air cool the temperature even in the height of summer. It has been grown in South Tyrol since the middle of the 19th century, especially the older vineyards give a structured and elegant Pinot Noir.
