At sight this wine shows a hue of ruby red and garnet reflections. On the nose there are fine hints of berries and cherry. An elegant wine with a well-proportioned, balanced and round body, with a persistent finish.
After harvesting, carried out carefully by hand, about 70% of the grapes are subjected to delicate de-stemming, while the remainder is vinified in whole bunches, again in concrete barrels. After about 5 days of cold maceration, alcoholic fermentation follows for approx. 21 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in barriques (new at 40%). Then it matures for six months in large oak barrels and, finally, another year in the bottle.
