This gin is produced from an ancient recipe from 1783 (contains 11 botanicals) presented in an old champagne bottle that was in common use in England at the time. Notes of musk, hazelnut, wood, angelica, round, long in the finish with slight notes of pepper.

TASTE. As soon as the bottle is opened, one cannot fail to notice the aroma of juniper berries. Then there are hints of almost hot hay, black pepper and spices. At the aftertaste you can guess hints of basil and mint. The taste is incredibly sweet and veiled.

PRODUCTION: The Old English Gin is distilled according to a 1783 recipe, distilling 11 botanists in the oldest Pot Still still existing in England, whose name of the kettle is also called Angela or Nonna, in honor of the old man's grandmother and very original distiller. It is then bottled in recycled Champagne bottles, the old fashioned way, as in 1783.

FUN FACT: gin, launched only in 2012, takes up an ancient recipe from 1783, in which gin was mostly bottled in Champagne bottles, given the high consumption of Champagne by the British (the British at the time were the major importers of Champagne). All to try to recreate the atmosphere of long ago
