Geranium, London Dry gin, owes its name to the presence of essential oils extracted from the Geranium plant. The botanical herbs are macerated for 48 hours in the best neutral grain alcohol and distilled in an over 100-year-old still. Final result of a floral gin, delicate with exotic and persistent notes.

TASTE With an obviously floral nose, the juniper together with the citrus note of lemon are not invasive at all. A dry and floral gin at the same time, thanks also to the London Dry method used. On the palate, almost veiled, with floral and spicy notes.

PRODUCTION Respecting the London dry regulation, the selected botanicals are aged 48 hours before distillation together with the neutral spirit. The distillation then takes place in a classic Copper Pot Still, with more than a hundred years of work behind it, everything is then checked and approved by the master distiller and then cut with water.

CURIOSITY Everything stems from the idea of Dane Henrick Hammer and his father, that of creating the best gin in the world, thus creating a gin that would go well both with a tonic and with a sweet element like a Vermouth, both floral and dry at the same time. From the very beginning they knew of the existence of a particular type of geranium that was adequately combined with juniper. Over time, his father succeeded in devising a method for extracting essential oils from the geranium plant. They had finally managed to find the perfect recipe, but unfortunately the father didn't live long enough to see the final product bottled. We hope together with Dane that his father will be able to taste it in heaven.
