Only the best vintages produce this great wine, which comes from the vineyards of the La Meirana Estate, planted between 1952 and 1953, after a selection of the best bunches harvested by hand and transferred to the cellar in wooden crates. The 2010 harvest was characterised by a regular flowering in the first ten days of June and a breezy summer with high day-night temperature fluctuations. These special conditions gave the wine great structure, excellent flavour and intense aromas of flint and almonds. After ageing in small stainless steel tanks "sur lie" for 108 months, the "Old Vintage" was born.
