Aulente Rosso 2020 - San Patrignano
Its expressiveness comes from a mosaic of different Sangiovese grapes from plots with very different characteristics that give this wine a unique character.
Denomination: Rubicone Rosso IGT
Variety: Sangiovese
Predominantly Sangiovese
Harvesting: first ten days of September Yield: 80 q/ha
Alcoholic fermentation: the grapes, which come from strictly nocturnal harvests, undergo a very brief cold maceration at a controlled temperature. At the end of alcoholic fermentation the wines undergo malolactic fermentation in steel before final ageing
Maturation: in steel and partly in large casks
Organoleptic characteristics: Intense ruby colour, with olfactory notes of rose, cherry, plum and a touch of spice. The palate is complex and pleasantly drinkable, with smooth tannins and a finish of remarkable taste-olfactory persistence. A grape variety interpreted with lightness, in this wine slightly sacrificing pulp, but integrating it with a very sincere varietal expression
