There are more than 200 lighthouses on the Scottish coast. Often associated with home, family and feeling safe, the lighthouse gave Brave New Spirits the inspiration for the Lighthouse product line. An invitation to drink with friends and family, Lighthouse Peated is a peated blended whisky that is aged in casks previously used for Spanish sherry and American bourbon. Fifteen per cent single malt whisky is added to the blend, while the minimum required by law is five per cent. This gives the distillate a smoothness and makes it easy to drink. Amber-coloured, it is sweet and fruity on the palate, with pleasant notes of chocolate and smoke.
