Bas Armagnac 12 Anni - Chateau de Lacquy
A blend of Armagnacs from 5 different years and 3 grape varieties. The youngest component is 12 years old, all are aged in oak barrels in our wine cellar until bottling. Notes of cocoa and flowers, a hint of vanilla. Straightforward attack on the palate, lovely balance and great freshness. Great length on the palate.
Alcohol content at bottling: 43° reduced with petites eaux The youngest Armagnac in the blend had spent 10 years on oak when the blend was made and the blend continued to age 2 more years in 420-liter barrels before sales.
Tasting Notes: Powerful and spicy nose, notes of cocoa, spice, flowers and a hint of vanilla. Round, lip-smacking attack on the palate, good balance and freshness, layers upon layers of aromas. Spice and a hint of menthol. Very lingering finish.
