Cremant de Bourgogne - Trenel
Bright golden color with aromas of acacia, green apple and white peach. It is creamy on the palate and you can appreciate the hints of hazelnuts and brioches given to the wine by the long aging period on the lees. The perlage is fine and persistent, as one should expect from a Blanc de Blanc.
Trénel's Crémant de Bourgogne is a classic method produced using exclusively Chardonnay from vineyards of around 25 years old, located in the Côte Chalonnaise. The clayey-calcareous soil of the Côte Chalonnaise, combined with the warmer climate than the rest of Burgundy, makes the Crémant of Trénel more full-bodied and creamy than other Crémant de Bourgogne produced in the Auxerre area. After fermentation in the bottle, the wine is aged on the lees for 36 months, three times more than required by the specification.
