The body is brilliant, golden straw yellow in colour. The bubbles are fine. The mousse is discreet and persistent. The nose is very expressive and open, offering notes of fruit and brioche, as well as aromas of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) and vanilla pod. The attack in the mouth is lively and fresh, very harmonious. Fruit and honey flavours then follow, in a delicate expression. Brut Prestige, which acquires its full maturity over the course of 3-4 years of ageing in the cellar, holds excellent aromatic potential.
The cuvée Taittinger Brut Prestige is a blend made from around fifty different crus and composed of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot from vintages of different years that have been perfectly ripened.
This high proportion of Chardonnay is extremely rare among the great sans année champagnes. It is therefore an honour for the Maison Taittinger to create a non-vintage brut of such prestige. The cuvée Brut Prestige is distinguished by its frank bouquet and balanced aromas. Its finesse, exuberance and vivacity in the mouth make it a champagne for every occasion.
