Langhe Nebbiolo 2022 - Bruno Porro
Delicate wine with hints of flowers and spices. Velvety with not too aggressive tannins.
The "RIBOTE" farm is a strictly family-run business with a centuries-old tradition. The name RIBOTE was taken in the year 1980 from the farmstead of the same name, located on the hilly slopes of the municipality of Dogliani (Cn), in the locality of San Luigi. The vineyards face southwest, growing on calcareous soil at an altitude of between 200 and 600 meters. 35 hectares of land, with a guyot training system and vine plants 20-60 years old. Cultivation is, of course, strictly organic. Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Chardonnay are the grapes grown, and for the past few years also a valuable vineyard in Monforte from which the winery's Barolo is derived. The Ribote winery's bottles boast labels designed and engraved by our friend Gianni Gallo, known as "Galet" . A refined and superfine artist, draftsman and engraver, he had the ability to translate the forms of nature into His works.
