Langhe Nebbiolo "Angelo" 2022 - Mauro Veglio
This Nebbiolo is obtained with the most delicate consistency grapes, coming from various younger and more exuberant vineyards both in the Municipality of La Morra and in Monforte d'Alba, and in Roero, vinified together with short fermentations to highlight the freshest notes and fruity.
Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Type of farming: guyot
Vinification: maceration with the skins in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 6 days, then it is drawn off and the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel ends (about 20 days) where, maintaining the controlled temperature, the malolactic fermentation also takes place. Subsequently the wine makes a short passage in small used oak barrels. After being decanted in stainless steel, the wine can be bottled without filtration or clarification.
Color: intense ruby red with purple reflections.
Bouquet: fresh, floral and fruity, with a prevalence of wild rose and morello cherry and delicate hints of raspberry.
Taste: vinous with great freshness and light and delicate tannins. Fine and balanced body and good aromatic persistence.
Serving temperature: 16 ° -18 °. It is pleasant to appreciate the initial freshness and experience the evolution of aromas as the wine warms up in the glass.
Evolution: born for a young consumption but with a noble DNA, it can withstand even a few years in the cellar.
