The Langhe Nebbiolo Cascina Fontana is a unique wine. Nebbiolo is certainly the most prized and noble grape in Piedmont and is the origin of the most renowned local wines, such as Barolo and Barbaresco. produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the historic Castello di Sinio vineyard combined with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Pozzo di Castiglione Falletto vineyard. This grape, destined to become Langhe Nebbiolo, is vinified more quickly (about a couple of weeks) than that used to produce Barolo. The result is a fresher wine, even if less complex, but no less harmonious and elegant, with a good balance of tannins and acidity. It is possible to age this wine 15/20 years from the year of production.
