COLOUR: bright and intense red, strong hue and intensity.
BOUQUET: Clear sensations of ripe red fruit with hints of rose.
FLAVOUR: exuberance and freshness typical of the variety, good overall acidity that enhances the softness due to the right tannin/body ratio. Slight hint of vanilla due to moderate ageing in wood.

SOIL: Calcareous clay AVERAGE AGE OF VINES: 25/30 years old VINIFICATION: traditional method - fermentation of the grapes in contact with the skins without the addition of yeasts for 7/8 days in cement vats, pumping over 3/4 times a day. AGEING: 4/6 months in wooden barrels and continuation in stainless steel tanks SERVING TEMPERATURE: 17° - 18° C ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%Vol
