Barbera d'Alba 2019 - Cascina Fontana

Cascina Fontana produces a full-bodied and full-bodied wine, which can benefit and improve with aging. After fermentation, the maturation, which takes place partly in used wooden barrels and partly in concrete tanks, helps the wine to soften and adds a touch of elegance, diluting the natural and marked acidity, typical of this vine. After bottling, Barbera refines in the bottle for at least another 6 months before being put on the market. The Barbera obtained from the vineyards located in the Barolo area has the ability to age and evolve for ten years or more, becoming rounder, softer and more complex over time. Barbera can accompany dishes of appetizers, cured meats, pasta dishes, roasted meats and aged cheeses.
