In Lavico Etna Bianco the Carricante, an indigenous grape of the Etna area, tells its land through intense aromas of peach and exotic fruit, lit by iodized, at times spicy sensations. Sapid and persistent on the palate, it has the typical freshness of the grape, which gives it structure and an unexpected longevity, and the minerality of those who have their roots in a soil made of lava.
On the slopes of the Volcano, in an area to which the soil gives unique characteristics, Duca di Salaparuta has chosen the Vajasindi Estate, in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia and Randazzo, for the new Lavico Etna DOC project. Here he decided to experiment with the peculiarities of mountain agriculture, giving voice to the two native vines, Carricante and Nerello Mascalese. Lavico Etna Bianco is therefore an expression of this demanding territory but full of excellence, and tells it through the vivacity of Carricante which is accompanied by balance, intensity and gustatory persistence.
