From this well-structured and persistent grape variety comes Autentici di Sicilia Syrah. The bouquet is intense, with hints of jam, small red fruits and spices such as black pepper, while the palate is broad, succulent, with tannin present but graceful.
The choice of single varietal allows the full expression of this fruit, which finds its original expression in Sicily, to be savored. Duca di Salaparuta, in the year in which it celebrates its 200th anniversary, brings to the label the Mediterranean colors of Renato Guttuso, a great painter of the Italian 20th century, originally from Bagheria, through a detail of his work Paesaggio dell'Aspra (1959, Oil on canvas, Private collection).
