The Vegliamonte project was born alongside the prestigious Parusso Armando di Parusso f.lli brand, when in November 2015 Marco and Tiziana began to cultivate the land of the Baconotta farmhouse in Santa Rosalia, Alba. The property consists of a typical Langhe farmhouse, with attached barn and stable and 14 hectares of property. 8 hectares are vineyards, 2 hectares are planted with hazelnuts and the rest are woods. The bond between the city of Alba and its villages is close, including that of Santa Rosalia. For this wine, the disciplinary requires at least 70% Nebbiolo and 15% Barbera. It is an assembly that was traditionally produced to compensate the characteristics of Nebbiolo with those of Barbera: the "Albese cut".
