La Cuvée Vieilles Vignes (40 years the average age of the vineyard) AOC Sauternes is composed of 100% Sémillon. The wine is aged 12 months in barriques and 10 months in cement tanks. The 2013 vintage has a pH of 3.54 and 100 g / l of residual sugar.
Owned by the Pauly family since 1914, the 20 hectares of vineyards are located in the municipality of Barsac, 16 of which are around the château. The name la bouade, during the old regime, was that given to the free task due to the owners or the king: to transport their harvest with the cart pulled by a pair of oxen. Château la Bouade produces exclusively white liqueur wines.
