

The Rot is a 100% Pinot Noir coming from vines grown with organic methods on a clayey-limestone soil. On the nose, aromas of strawberries, cherries and vanilla blend with hints of coconut and toasted wood. On the palate it is dry, medium-bodied with a pleasant acidity. 8 years aging potential.
The Riedlin family has been cultivating vineyards in the city of Laufen, in the southern Baden region, since 1656. In 2009 Markus Kuntz-Riedlin took over the family's land and relaunched the family winery with the collaboration of his wife Sybille Kuntz.
