Etna Rosso 2020 "Selmo" - Nuzzella

From the dream of Nicola Autieri and his boundless passion for the Etna territory, the Nuzzella winery, located in Piedimonte Eteneo on the eastern slope of Etna, was born in 2014. From the first 4 hectares of vineyards and olive groves purchased, they started with the restoration of the pre-existing vineyard: only 1.6 hectares planted with Nerello Mascalese, Carricante and Catarratto. In 2015, the first harvest, which yielded only 2,000 of classic method sparkling wine from Nerello. With the passage of time, thanks to the care taken by Nicola and his family, the vineyard gradually rebalanced, delivering a qualitatively better but also more consistent production. Today, the company has expanded, the number of labels has become 6, with a total of about 10,000 bottles per year.
