Mâcon - Milly-Lamartine 2021 - Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon

Dominique Lafon's adventure in Mâconnais began in 1999, involving the Lafon family by purchasing the first part of the 26 hectares that today make up the property south of the Côte de Beaune in that area that increasingly offers "fresh and easy to drink" wines. Only Chardonnay grapes (the village of Chardonnay is within the DOC a a few kilometers north of Mâcon bordering Uchizy) produced by the Domaine for an average production of 180,000 bottles for wines resulting from the experience and style of the eclectic Dominique who brought in the Mâconnais that finesse and that depth typical of the great wines of Burgundy. Fine wines, capable of a good aging which offer the possibility of enjoying a high quality white Burgundy while being in the area further south of this wine-growing region which is today the center of worldwide interest for lovers of quality wine. In each wine is enhanced by the minerality and "tension" of the individual terroirs whose facets are always well recognizable and make this Domaine, especially through its Viré-Clessé, the true standard-bearer of the Mâconnais.
